A hand sculpted interpretation of a wearable meteorite formed in a steel based resin.

"I found a a stone I couldn't identify on a beach in Wales. Heavy and metallic looking, it's blackened surface looked it had blasted through the atmosphere. In being taught how to identify meteorites with a curator at Manchester Museum I was fascinated by the particular texture knows as regmaglypts. Translating as thumb prints, the meteorite surface looked as thought the impressions could have been made by human hands, with a force behind them so strong they could crush rocks." Jade
