A rare “Island agate” in a sea of quartz giving the jewel semi-diaphanous properties. This is framed by the open back of the reverse of the pendant. The setting around the stone has a caddis texture to subtly catch the light in a gentle and geological way inspired by the protective cases of the caddis made form tiny pebbles underwater. The pendant is made from solid bronze on a gold fill chain (a hard wearing sheet layer of gold bonded onto metal-similar to rolled gold).
