This beautiful pear shaped gemstone is quartz discovered in the Cairngorms in Scotland. With warm gentle tones of pinkish brown, set in silver in a rustic halo of tesserae inspired ancient mosaics and time-worn ruins. Quartz has a hardness of 7 on the mohs scale which is the same as amethyst, citrine and peridot.
Set on a textured band so also stacks with most other bands. Hallmarked in London. Size P.
